This super soft alpaca neck warmer is handcrafted by impoverished women in Peru. It hugs the neck for cozy warmth, and is finished off with a decorative 3-strand knitted design. This version has a heather gray base with blue trim and specs of orange.
Considered by many a higher quality material than cashmere, alpaca is one of the world’s most valuable natural fibers. Just ask any Incan Emperor why only the royal families were allowed to wear it! It is luxuriously soft (not at all itchy), hypoallergenic, breathable, warm, lightweight and durable. Best of all, it is a natural, eco-friendly fiber and the artisans are paid fair wages.
89% Alpaca, 11% polyamide
