This beautiful little bracelet features black ceramic beads, brass beads, a hand of protection (hamsa, hand of fatima) charm and a cloth tassel.  It is strung on stretch elastic so will fit most wrist sizes.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This piece of jewelry is handcrafted by female artisans in a fair trade cooperative in Chimbote, Peru.  Chimbote is one of the poorest cities in the world, and the women in this cooperative are either disabled or have disabled children. They earn 3x the minimum wage in Peru and work in a bright, airy, safe environment.  They use recycled metals and other materials whenever possible.
