These exquisite little butterflies are handmade and embroidered by talented artisans in remote villages in Chiapas, Mexico.  The colors on these butterflies are bright and cheerful and the embroidery is beautifully done.  

Measures approximately 3" wide (at widest point of wing span).  Comes with a loop on the back for hanging.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This beautiful ornament is handmade in a fair trade cooperative in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico.  The artisans live in remote areas without access to buyers, so the cooperative has helped them earn fair wages and become self sufficient.  Each piece bears the signature style and artistry of the woman who made it.
