These exquisite note cards are plantable. They contain marigold seeds and petals - after use just plant them in the ground. 

They are handcrafted with 100% tree-free, upcycled cotton paper.  Artisans apply traditional paper making techniques to transform discarded cotton remnants into a pulp which is strained, pressed into pages, and hung to dry.  Seeds and Marigold petals are added during this process, resulting in an eco-friendly, plantable, richly textured paper with a uniquely soft feel. The entire process is tree-free and non-toxic, producing a clean and beautiful product which keeps on giving.

This note card set includes eight plantable note cards in crescent moon design with eight Kraft envelopes (the cards open up).

Cards measure 4"L x 6" W.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This item was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in India.  The artisans are paid fair wages, use sustainable materials and work in safe conditions.  They have seen their lives greatly improved through fair trade practices.
