This gorgeous bag features vegetable-tanned leather using traditional, centuries old techniques. The cowhide is thick, stiff and very durable.  There is a full width pocket inside, a removable strap and a magnetic closure.  This versatile bag can be worn across the body or as a clutch with the strap detached.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

Our leather products are made by artisans in a fair trade cooperative in Morocco.  The artisans work together to create unique, contemporary designs using age-old leather-making techniques traditional to Morocco.  The artisans are paid excellent wages and have seen their lives improve in many ways - debt-free living, learning business skills and increased self-esteem and empowerment.
