These whimsical earrings feature a beaded and woven colorful dragonfly.  Dragonflies are a symbol of new beginnings, hope, change and love.  

Earrings measure approximately 1.25" long (not including ear wires).

Recycled metals; nickel-free.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This piece of jewelry was handcrafted by talented female artisans in a fair trade cooperative in India. The artisans are paid 3x the minimum wage, receive health insurance and have access to educational scholarships.  The women are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and working in fair trade cooperatives has helped them not only become self-sufficient but has provided them with a new sense of dignity.
