This beautiful necklace features a brass-plated bar pendant on a gold chain. The metal on the pendant is brushed, creating a lovely soft finish.  This minimalist piece looks great alone or layered with other favorites.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This piece of jewelry is handmade by low-income women in a fair trade cooperative in New Delhi which provides training and education while paying the women fair wages.  One of the longest running cooperatives in India, dating back to the 1970's, it not only provides employment, but actively campaigns against child labor, illiteracy, unfair trade practices, discrimination and AIDS.
