ABOUT THE ARTISANS
The artisans who make this scarf work in a fair trade women's cooperative in India. The mission of the cooperative is to empower women through providing sustainable work, fair wages, profit sharing and providing credit. The organization also provides medical care and educational opportunities in rural areas for girls to attend school who normally could not afford it.
