End Human Trafficking Bracelet, Rwanda

We are thrilled to introduce this newest addition to our End series bracelets, handmade by female artisans in Rwanda, many of whom are HIV positive.  The sale of this one will help end human trafficking, which effects over 2 million people a year.  It features purple beads strung on a stretch cord and adorned with interlocking shiny silver-plated beads. It is finished off with a silver key charm, representing a new home.

Same Sky, the organization working directly with the women, is donating 20% of proceeds from each bracelet sold to Not For Sale's work supporting survivors of the global trafficking crisis. By wearing this bracelet, you wear a symbol of the strength of trafficking survivors and help to light the path to hope and home.

Bracelet measure 1/2" wide and 7" in diameter.  It stretches to best fit wrists 6-8" in diameter.  For best care do not expose to water.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

The Same Sky project employs approximately 85 female artisans in Rwanda, most of whom were victims of the 1994 genocide.  Many are also HIV positive.  The sale of their beautiful handmade jewelry has provided the artisans with not only an income to support themselves and their families but also access to healthcare and a newfound sense of pride, dignity and hope.
