Our Eternally Loved Wrap Bracelet has been so popular in blue and purple that we added this black and gray one for fall and winter. This triple wrap is handmade in Guatemala by female artisans in a fair trade cooperative. It features glass beads of various sizes and shapes in a variety of black, gray, and silver hues. It is handwoven on a thin leather cord and finished off with a clasp made from a Guatemalan coin.
Bracelet measures approximately 22.5" long and has two settings to fit various wrist sizes.
ABOUT THE ARTISANS
The artisan cooperative that makes this beautiful piece of jewelry is located in Santiago Atitlan, in the highlands of Guatemala. Not only are the artisans paid fair wages, but the cooperative uses the profits to help fund an elder program in the community, which provides meals three times a week to impoverished elders, many of whom otherwise have no food to eat. The majority of the elders were widowed during the genocide in the 1980's. This is an extraordinary community service.
