ABOUT THE ARTISANS

The artisans who make these bracelets work in a fair trade women's cooperative in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.  The women are paid excellent wages, and they work in a  communal setting which provides support and friendship in addition to earnings.  They use recycled materials to create stunning, colorful designs.
