This fun, contemporary bracelet is part of our snare wire collection. It features repurposed snare wire collected during anti-poaching efforts in Zambia. In addition to the spiraled wire, it featuresTibetan silver beads strung on a double strand black leather cord.
ABOUT THE ARTISANS
Our snare wire jewelry is handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in Zambia. The snare wire, which is used to poach elephants, is collected and repurposed into beautiful, contemporary jewelry. The organization that works with the women donates $5 from each piece of jewelry sold to help fund anti-poaching controls. The artisans are paid fair wages and are seeing their lives greatly improved, while elephants in Zambia are being saved.
