This adorable purse is handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in Nepal.  It is made entirely of soft felt and has 3 removable finger puppets to play with - an octopus, shark and clown fish. Each bag is dyed, cut, and stitched by hand in Nepal, and is made of azo-free, non-toxic dyes.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This felted toy is handmade in a fair trade cooperative in Katmandu that employs 80 women, many of whom were formerly trafficked. The women are taught the ancient art of felting which has helped them gain independence and work their way out of poverty.
