This gorgeous fair trade scarf is block-printed by traditional craftspeople in India using hand-carved teak blocks.  Printed on pre-shrunk, lightweight, soft cotton, it features the traditional art of hand block printing.  Organic, eco-friendly colors, pigments, and dyes are used to create this sustainably produced scarf .

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

Our block printed scarves are handmade in a fair trade artisan cooperative in India.  The artisans  use traditional Indian block printing design techniques and eco-friendly dyes.  They earn excellent wages and have seen their standard of living improve greatly through fair trade practices.  Their contemporary designs combined with traditional techniques create beautiful products that appeal to western consumers.
