Washing instructions:  

Due to the natural dye, we recommend washing before first use in cold water with 1/2 cup of vinegar. Machine or hand wash cold separately, line dry.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This item was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in India.  The artisans are not only paid excellent wages but receive interest-free loans, business and computer training, and advances to purchase raw materials. They also have access to health clinics and education for their children.
