This beautiful necklace was handmade by survivors of human trafficking.  It features a small, hand-cut labradorite stone encased in 14k gold-plated stainless steel. This petite necklace showcases the unique beauty, texture, and shine of the labradorite stone's iridescent blue, green, and charcoal hues.

The purchase of this necklace is equivalent to 1 week of computer classes for an exploited woman.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This piece of jewelry is made in a fair trade cooperative in China by survivors of human trafficking.  The women have survived horrific abuse but are now living lives of freedom. They are working with an organization that provides them with a safe haven as well as healthcare, education, counseling, job training and employment.  They are learning a trade that empowers them to remain free forever from abuse.
