This gorgeous flower pot was handmade out of 100% natural wool felt by artisans in Nepal.  It fits potted plants up to 5.5" in diameter.  Excess water will wick through the natural woolen fibers, so place a dish inside or outside just in case.  The wool will naturally dry out.  Or use as a gift basket for special occasions, or as a container for all sorts of household items.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This ornament is handmade in a fair trade cooperative in Katmandu, Nepal.  It is made using sustainably harvested materials including natural sheep wool, and excess water is drained into a neighboring garden to grow food.  The cooperative employs over 300 women, who work in clean, safe conditions and receive fair wages.  The women are able to work at home which enables them to take care of their children. Your purchase not only helps the artisans but assists in maintaining a cultural tradition of Nepal.
