ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This item was handmade in a fair trade cooperative in India.  The art of traditional Indian metalwork requires mastery, passed on through generations in the desert Kutch region of India. The artisans are paid fair wages, use sustainable materials and work in safe conditions. They have seen their lives greatly improved through these fair trade practices.
