This adorable rabbit toy is handmade out of 100% cotton fabric in a fair trade cooperative in Sri Lanka. The fabric is crafted from yarn dyed with AZO-free and PCP tested eco-friendly dyes, ensuring that they are not only safe for the environment but also for the most delicate of hands.  Colorful and cuddly, this one is sure to be well-loved.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This toy was handmade in a fair trade cooperative in the Kegalle district of Sri Lanka.  The artisans are paid excellent wages and most live near the factory so they can walk to work.  The women also have the opportunity to take work home to earn extra income.  They use non-toxic dyes in their products making them safe for children of all ages.  The artisans have seen their lives greatly improve through fair trade practices.
