Bohemian Dangle Earrings, Lapis - India

These ethically handmade, fair trade earrings feature a brass triangle opposite an upside down triangle of gold and Lapis stones. Delicate brass chains hang down and follow your movements as they swirl and sway in unique patterns. Lapis beads form another triangle at the bottom to give a sense of continuity and wholeness.

Measure approximately 3.25" long (not including ear wires).

All of our products are shipped with cards containing information about fair trade and the corresponding artisan group.

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This jewelry was handmade by women in a fair trade cooperative in India who have HIV/AIDS. They use the "gypset style," which combines the ancient crafts of bead weaving and macrame with a modern aesthetic. Each piece has a free-form bohemian feel. The women receive full time employment and earn living wages so they can support their families and lead dignified lives.
