ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This scarf was handmade in a fair trade cooperative in Nepal.  The artisans use traditional techniques to stone-wash the ethically sourced cotton, creating a soft, vintage look.  The artisans are paid excellent wages and work in safe, communal conditions.  They have full-time work which enables them to support their families and live a dignified life.
