ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This jewelry was handmade in a fair trade cooperative in the highlands of Guatemala near Lake Atitlan.  Not only are the artisans paid fair wages, but they are able to work from home so that they can care for their children while earning a living wage. The artisans have greatly improved their standard of living through the sale of this beautiful jewelry.
