This exquisite scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in Nepal.  It features a silk scarf with a stunning wool felted design on top of the silk.  Soft and warm, this ethically handmade scarf makes the perfect winter gift.  It also looks gorgeous as a wall hanging.

Please note:  Each scarf is individually handmade so color patterns will vary.  Some scarves will have purples and reds in addition to the blue (see photos for examples).

ABOUT THE ARTISANS

This scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in the Himalayas.  The artisans use traditional Nepalese felting techniques to embellish the silk, creating a stunning effect.  The women are paid fair wages, work in safe, healthy conditions and receive job training skills.
